Together is about connection in the presence of division.
Two hands extend toward one another across a fractured field of red and blue. They don’t quite touch yet. Instead, they become pathways. Tiny figures climb, slip, reach, fall, and rise again, reminding us that unity isn’t abstract or easy, it’s built by individuals choosing to move toward one another.
The red and blue are not just colors, they symbolize opposing sides, beliefs, histories, and lived experiences. The hands represent something larger than any one person, community, humanity, ancestry, and care. The small figures show us that connection is an active process, carried by many, not achieved by one.
Some figures fall. Some hesitate. Some reach back to help others up. Even in separation, no one is alone.
Created in collaboration with Nathan Robles, the piece itself mirrors its message, different voices, styles, and perspectives coming together to form a single work, proof that connection is possible when we build it together.
We handmake our prints with our fine art printer at our studio. Each print is printed on heavy weight archival fine art paper or canvas. Each is numbered, limited edition, signed by both of us, and titled. For framed prints we sign both the print border and the mat so that it is visible.
All of our pieces can be mailed or picked up in person at the gallery. We package our work carefully and ship out all products with tracking.
If you are local to the Spokane, Washington area, you have the option to pick up your purchased piece in person at the gallery at 1105 W. 1st Ave, Spokane, WA 99201. We can also discuss delivery, just reach out to us.
