Also known as "Striped Arrows," Flechas Rayadas was a Jicarilla Apache chief who co-led forces with Francisco Chacon during the Battle of Cieneguilla. Following the battle, he attempted to negotiate peace by offering to return captured horses and arms, but his proposal was rejected by U.S. military leaders.
